The satin fabric adds the special sheen to the satin corset. Satin corset are the least bulky and are therefore particularly suitable under other clothes. Waist trimming corsets / taille corset are the shortest of the basic corset styles. The waist can purposely be shaped into an hourglass. In some styles such as Gothic or Steampunk the corset is also worn as an eye catcher over a blouse or a dress.
